Have you thought about... Flea markets........Workamper......Auto detailing......craft fairs and such for additional income?
as far as fuel .....800 miles is an average 12 to 14 hour drive, to do that you would miss everything in between... a good days drive is 250 miles then find a place to park .....boondock .....campground... and stay a few days, find what is available to make a few dollars and enjoy the new spot!
After a little trial and error you will find your niche.........then you can plan your point a to point b schedule and enjoy the trip
As far as budgeting that is something you will learn quick or you will learn the hard way........I have a basic needs budget of 1200 dollars a month...it covers a tank of fuel , food ,phone & Internet and a couple nites of campground,,,anything above that I find work for, and anything not spent out of that 1200 stays within that account and it builds up for emergencies......
Now that being said...I am very frugal with my money, if it is not going to make me more money I dont spend it.....I boondock alot , I have several ways of making an honest dollar on the road....
Disability wise this is a choice you have to make......the national park service , army corp of engineers., fish game and wildlife all offer drastic discounts to disabled pass holders and obtaining a pass is a simple procedure ,,
you are on the west coast and boondocking areas are all over the place so your cost can be kept down if its what you want.
good luck
