Doing a lot of research on full time RVing. My husband is on disability. Was wondering if most campgrounds if any give discounts for people on full disablity and if so what kind of paperwork is needed?

COE and national parks require SSD/I ...copy of letter .or a US Armed forces disability ID.....they will issue a lifetime card.....state disability cards are not accepted
some states give discounts to all disabled others only to residents
private campgrounds are not required to give discounts for disability, only make access available to you to facilities
There are alot of us out here that are disabled or traveling with someone that is.

If you need more info on this Vanessa please PM me and I will get you the specific info Related to applying for the cards for the discounts .....you also might want to look into a membership in Passport America. and a few other clubs.
If you have a DMV Handicap placard for your car , Display it in the motor home. I have found most state parks and all National parks give me free admission and discounts on a site without having to produce info .
In my home state handicap tags are available for the coach also and our drivers license has a holographic H/c logo on it . I prefer the placard because it can be moved from vehicle to vehicle and allows guests with you free admission also.
Depending on your handicap there are several types of used class A's out here modified for handicap use with lifts and interior ADA modifications
Again if I can help let me know

Thats a great idea about having the HC plate visible on the RV or front of the truck. Thanks Mike!

My husband doesn't have a physical disability. He has a mental health disability so he does not (and rightly so) qualify for handicapped license plates.
