Still suffering with shortness of breath; angina and fatigue even though I exercise by biking and walking twice a day for about 1/2 hr total. I am not leaving the RV living as I'm nestled down in Lebanon, Tn. where I hope to get healthcare from the VA, most vets in the RV Park use them and are well-satisfied with them.
The owner seems to have taken a liking to me and has negotiated to letting me stay here. I will receive my earl SS starting in August. After a year from the heart attack; I guess my health isn't going to improve much better and i have to accept the fact that I'm not a young buck anymore. Life goes on and I will follow along as the Good Lord Wills!
This is Easter Week and it will give me time to reflect and maybe come up with some ideas for the next chapter of my life!!
Needed to provide a little update to all my familey here. PIEERE

Please don't take a sabbatical from RV Dreams, we enjoy having you around here. As far as your health stuff please stay positive, keep on pushing yourself, and things will turn around, you might ever feel 16 again but maybe late 40's is a POSSIBILTY......LOL. Be well, have a nice Easter.

Pierre,
You can be sure that my thoughts and prayers are with you. As the others have said, don't be shy about chiming back in on occasion. If nothing else, keep in touch so we can all keep up with both Mike and Nightsky. We welcome your comments and insight.

Pieere, It is alright to take a break from rv travel but stick around here. You have a lot to offer a group like this. Your time on the road, work camping experience, and your time spent with the VA and health care system can be very helpful. I still cannot believe what has happened to some of us here. Our big plan for the "dream" has taken us down a road that we never thought we would be taking. I also still have shortness of breath and don't think it is going away any time soon. I have been hospitalized twice since the end of last year. Two blood transfusions(5 units total) and a battery of tests. See? You are not alone! I exercise daily(even when it takes all I have to get out there) We must continue to fight the fight. Be good to yourself and check in when you can.

I'm not going to give up on this forum; there are too many of you great people who have been so supportive of me and others. I pray someday and it would be great if we could all get-together for a week and maybe that wouldn't be long enough to share coffee and time. I know for a fact I'm not the only one with health problems; even though it feels that way some times. I believe most of you remember this song: "I get by with a little help from my friends; I will try with a little help from my friend." I changed it to a "lot" of help from my forum family friends!!! My old 1982 Honda 50cc has been a blessing when I get too tired to ride the bike. I put a milk crate basket on the back carrier and use it to ride the campground and pick up trash. That gives me about four hours a week to add to the exercise.
I want to thank everyone for responding to my rants about health problems! It sure beats talking about the political front though. LOL! PIEERE
