Hello everyone,
My husband Corky and I (Lucy-which is his nickname for me), have been camping for about 5 years. We bought our first Class A about 5 years ago and upgraded to another just a year ago. My husband loves the Class A. I would prefer a Fifth Wheel and so our agree to disagree continues. We are about 7-10 years from retirement and full timing. I am a planner and so I've already started the process of gathering information and planning for taking to the road. The plan over the next five years is to pay off all of our debt-except for the house. I love having a goal and I really hope that we can figure out a way to go on the road earlier-we will see.
Looking forward to your knowledge and experience.

Welcome Corky and Lucy. Do you plan on keeping the house? Many decisions, no wrong answers, just what ever makes you comfortable. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Thanks again for the welcome!! We have talked alot about selling or not selling the house. On one hand, we could rent the house for income because we could rent it for alot more than the mortgage and we would continue to have the taxes as a deduction but we would also then have the rent as income. So, we've decided we would sell when we are ready to go full time. We've got quite a bit of time to think about updates, etc. that we can do to the house. Actually this past weekend we were deciding between selling our current home for a home that was a smaller one story or planning on becoming full timers and after much discussion we now have decided to go full time in a few years. It feels good to have made the decision and make plans accordingly.
