I did try doing a search on this forum to answer my question but couldn't find anything. Can someone explain to me what the Encore RV parks are? I usually see the logo in conjunction with the Thousand Trails logo. I somewhat understand about TT and buying a membership, but can anyone camp at the Encore parks or do you have to be a member of TT or a member of something else? When I try to bring up an encore park website, there usually isn't too much information and no information on rates. We're looking for a park in Tucson for next winter and a number of the parks come up as Encore parks. Sorry if there's already a disccussion and I just didn't find it. Thanks. You folks are a wonderful bunch - always full of good information.

Same parent company, Equity Lifestyles (ELS), but Encore parks are not membership parks. You do get deals on the rates as TT members. The website, http://www.rvonthego.com/, has both TT and Encore parks with the TT parks available for much higher rates than a TT member pays. Been told the number of spaces for the public in TT parks is limited. In the past they were separate companies but ELS is trying to make money on everything.

Last week we stayed at Winter Garden RV resort in Florida, it is an Encore RV park. We got a great deal for the week, think it ended up costing us $230 for a FHU inclusive. We didn't have any membership discounts, but Melissa (park host) gave us 25% off for military. The park itself was pretty busy, the sites are kinda closed in, we had a pull-thru but it was still tight getting into it. We would stay there again though. You can't do much better than that price in FL in the Winter months

Hey arkypam,
I don't know about the other Encore parks, but we've been FT at PS Oasis RV Resort in the Palm Springs area for 3 years now. Nice park with everything we need and wonderful snowbirds every winter! Fabulous annual rate and some of the least expensive rates in our area for 3 to 6 month stays. Give them a try!!
