So back on the road after a hiccup cost us a few months of sitting in one spot and we found an issue where we're going to need to open up the under belly and have one of the grey tanks checked.
We'd like to do that work when we're in Floriday in March and April but finding a good repair place is a pain. My first thought was to check with you folks and see if any one has had any good experiences in the "Sunshine" state as far as RV repairs go.

I haven't used either and it depends on where you are…but Lazy Days in Tampa and North Trail in Fort Myers have gotten good reviews from people I know that used them.

If you are up north I know a couple people who really like Tri-Am in Ocala.

Technically we are in Texas but changing locations quickly for a while. Until we get to Florida then we'll be slowing down Ocala can be made to work.

Becareful with Lazy Days unless you have a lot of time on your hands and don't mind hanging out for several weeks. If you do go insist on Samantha as your service advisor. Your service advisor can make a big difference in your experience at the service center. I won't get into a bunch of name dropping and negatives but we had a very bad experience until we changed service advisors and were assigned Sam. She was able to cut through all the warranty red tape, she expedited our parts and repairs while others just gave lip service and caused delays.

mallo, as soon as you get into fla on I-10, exit 10,29 north, about 1 mile north is carpenter's campers. we bought our travel trailer there and the service was pretty fair. it is close to the interstate and you can call ahead to set things up, service is what they are known for, it's worth a shot anyway, hope this helps. mark phone # 850-477-6666

Most of the information on RV Service reviews is ... dated at best. We'd setup with Tri-am before I saw the posts about North Trails. We take the house in tommorow.
To the nice gentleperson concerned about warrenty issues. We've owned our current house for five years there is no warrenty. But yes those issues can be a pain, I have always advocated pushing those things ones self. A concerned knowledgeable customer willing to push for resulotion has the best chance of getting their work completed correctly.
Tommorow night I'll post up a review on the day at Tri-am and we'll see. Every one we've talked too in Ocala and on Lake Seminole have had good things to say about them. Not the norm for RV service locations. The nice thing is if they're good they have a location up in Tennesse near 40.

Some of them are dated but many are not, every month new reviews are added, help keep it current by posting your experience at Tri-Am.......RV service reviews is a great asset to all of us....posting your review is free.

RV Service Reviews is a data base, with over 6000 responses. I think you have to give the couple that started that website a lot of credit for maintaining it all these years. If you read the details of the individual reviews, you can get a pretty good idea who the real players are.
