X2 for Lambright's. We lived in Indiana so had the luxury of picking our fabric out at the shop and then picking the chairs up a couple weeks later after they made them. Nice chairs! Just remember they are an Amish family so if you call them you will need to leave a message and they will call you back since their phone is in a booth out by the road. If you happen to be in the area their house is the first one South of their shop and they are more than happy to show you their wares, just not on Sunday.

you might be able to order them through Brad and Hall at the link provided by bjoyce.
Lambrights are a small affair, picture a pole barn type building on a gravel/dirt road in Amish farm country and that's their "factory". The chairs are all hand built by the family and are very good quality. We had two of them in our 5th wheel that we hated to give up when we traded.
When we change out the recliner in our Motorhome it will be with another Lambright chair.

The next recliners that I buy will be Lambrights. They have the best recliner mechanism that I have ever found.

La-Z-Boy... YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!!!!
NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER GET NEAR A LA-Z-BOY PRODUCT! HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, THE CHAIRS WERE PRETTY (BUT CRAP), AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I WOULD DRIVE 500 MILES TO AMISH COUNTRY BEFORE I BOUGHT ANOTHER LA-Z-BOY PRODUCT!!! (Product?) The company is just coasting along on a repuation it built many years ago. Sadly, times have changed.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

That's the problem, everybody says they are the best but before I order one I want to sit in it and make sure it is comfortable for me. My other choice is a Lane or Lazyboy. Both make a compact recliner and we will be near Ocala next week and look at both. Anybody in Florida have a Lambright recliner I can look at? Thanks, just completing our first month of fulltiming!

I'm like Forest and Cindy. I absolutely HAVE to try them out. To me, a recliner must be just that. I want it to get me pretty flat when I recline it so that I'm comfortable for those naps. Of all the different recliners that we have had, only the La-Z-Boy gets me as flat as I want to be.

I agree with trying before buying. We did that and ended up buying.
I also recommend people find a way to spend a bit of time in the area around Elkhart/South Bend, Indiana. It is where many RVs are manufactured, where many of the components and appliances are manufactured, so there is a lot to do and a lot to try out. The surplus stores are definitely a destination.

That's FANTASTIC, Racerguy! I'm glad to know someone enjoys theirs. Shortly after ours were delivered, and this was quite some time ago, not only did the fibers in the fabric start to pull out, but the mechanism starting squeaking. What got our goat from the get-go is that the manager wanted no part of making things good... not even exchanging them! Just an experience I will NEVER forget and have never graced their doors since... and never will.

Whoa, Mary.
Like George, I've had nothing but good service from La-Z-Boy. In fact, with the first one we bought way back in the '80's, I had it for roughly 10 or 12 years and then my youngest son took it when we bought new furniture. He had it recovered and it lasted another 8 years at least. The only reason we got rid of our last set was because we were selling the house to move into the DRV and didn't have room in the coach for the two of them.
Sorry that you had bad service.

Mary I, as well, am sorry you had a bad experience but don't make the mistake many people make of blaming a product when what you got was bad service from a bad store.Did you go beyond the manager at that store? When I have a problem with something I complain my way up the ladder until I get a favorable response and if I get to the top without that then and only then would I feel someone has a bad product. That Manager at that particular store did a disservice not only to you but the Brand Lazy-Boy.

500 miles maybe, but it's over 1000 miles from where we will be this year. That's about $700 in diesel only! Still hoping to run into someone who has a Lambright I can see.

We had,, have a Ekornes recliner that served us well except it does not rock. And I like to rock so we bought a Lazy Boy rocker recliner are are very happy with it so far.
We don't really have room for both so the Ekornes has to go but my Lazy Boy gets to keep it's home here with me.
