When you sign up for the RV-Dreams Community Forum, a confirmation email is sent to the email address you entered so you can click on the link and confirm that you created an account.
Therefore, it's very important that:
1) You enter a correct email address
2) You have your spam filter set to allow the comfirmation email from "activeboard.com"
The following email systems are notorious for filtering the confirmation email into a spam or junk folder: yahoo, hotmail, comcast, aol, & gmail.
So, if you have been waiting for a confirmation email, it's either in a spam/junk folder in your email system or the wrong email address was entered.
The system tells me either "No such email address" which indicates mis-typing or "Email has been sent successfully" which indicates the confirmation email is probably in a spam floder. Eventually, I get around to manually activating those members that have been pending awhile where the email was sent successfully but it hasn't been confirmed. The timing on that manual activation may be a day, a week, a couple weeks or close to a month depending on what we've got going on at the time.
We value our members and their participation. And if you will do the two little things above, you can be a participating part of the Community faster.
