Noticed the same thing, when trying to read the most recent update on a few postings.
Although this does not fix the reason for the problem, thought I would share my shorter-term fix: if you go to the lower right hand corner and change how the posts are sorted (i.e., change "oldest first" to "newest first"), then you can view the most recent post ... or at least that worked for me.

I posted a new thread over on SOITC's forum a while ago and got a message indicating that my thread would be visible after moderator approval. In all the time I've been there, that hasn't happened, even when we just started participating there.
And, twice today, after making a posting, I've been unable to see it after "submitting" the post. One occasion was when I "replied" to someone else's question and the other was when I posted a new thread here in "Community Chat" about using game cameras for surveillance around one's site in a campground or RV park.
Just prior to starting this thread, that post in Community Chat was still not showing up in the list of threads. However, if one was at the stage of looking at the titles of all the forum "categories" it showed that I had posted something at 2:12pm today in that little column to the right of the category titles. Clicking on that "date and time" took me to my post.
So, keep an eye on what is going on when you post. If you don't see your post immediately after posting it, give it some time before trying again so that you don't "double post" the same comment. Should it happen that you do double post, I will likely just remove one or more of the duplicates. I just wanted to let everyone know that weird stuff is going on around here today.

I had another weird one a while ago.
I could log into the forums and it showed me as logged in. Then, when I went to go into a category and a specific thread, it would not show me as logged in and there were no buttons like "Reply," "Quote," or other in the body of each post.
I then decided to reboot my computer, and now this last issue is resolved.
Weird day, folks.
I just knew I should have stayed in bed.

Lets see if this works... Last night I replied to several posts, 2 of the posts never made it here. And I'm too lazy to remember what I typed to repost.

This one has been happening to me the last few times I have logged in, I just carried on to the next stage of clicking on a thread and when it opened up, I was logged in as usual?
