This is the way I get photos off my Ipad to use online. I have a Picasa Account. Then I installed an app called Web Albums.
Web albums can connect to Picasa and Facebook. This way I can easily upload my Ipad Photos. Also download photos to my Ipad.
Once the photo is at Picasa you can find its URL and copy it into the forum. Open the photo select link and copy/n/paste. :)
Anyway that's my method, be nice to here others ways

That makes sense. From a pic can access pics on my hard drive but evidently one uses an outside service for the Apple mobile devices.
Gene, you done with storms & blizzards for now?

Sherry,
I think the outside service like Photobucket and Picasa is required for many of the different forums, but not because of the phone. We got a Photobucket account just so I could post and share photos on forums. My Android DroidX2 has an app that I can use to post to Photobucket for the photos I take with the phone. (Most photos I take with my Nikon.)
I know of one RV forum where I can "upload" an image directly from my computer, but all others need to use the URL address or use the outside service.
One of the biggest things to watch for is to make sure that one's photos are not too large. If they are, they force the forum page to "widen" to the point that one has to use the scroll bar at the bottom of the post to see all of the photo. In addition, that widened page forces ALL of the text on that page to widen as well, and one has to use the bottom scroll bar to even read all of the text. It really gets irritating to try to read pages like that. What I usually do is resize my photo before putting it on Photobucket. Then once I insert it into my post, I use the "Show Preview" button at the lower left to see how big the picture is on the page. If I can see the scroll bar at the bottom, then I remove the photo from Photobucket and resize it on my computer before putting it there again.
Now, if the I-Pad or I-Phone don't take that large of a photo, it probably wouldn't matter.

I have an IPad, Photobucket has an IPad application, so for me it's directly out of Photobucket that I post......
