I guess we visualized something even more. But thats what we figured would happen the first year out. Finding the spots that fit US. It's sunny here and temps in the 60's is good compared to Oregon but I think we are looking for the 70's.

We have been here 9 days now and plan to leave tomorrow or the next day to Alamo State Park. Then we plan to come back and boon dock for a couple more days then head to Indio Jan 7th through the 12th to have some MCD shades installed. Then back to Quartzsite to bood dock for a week with some Tiffin folks from Jan 13th to the 21st. Then to Yuma from the 21st for a couple weeks,, having a couple windows replaced,, then back to Quartzsite for the RV Dreams boon docking rally.
Staying put almost sounds easier LOL!!!

We're right next to you (well almost) in Ehrenberg, but just an overnight stop on our way to Seal Beach in CA. This is UNUSALLY COLD for this time of year in the Southwest. It'll be colder than usual there as well. I lived in SoCal from '85 to '99 and my first Christmas there was 95. Put a turkey on the grill and hit the beach!
I don't like the cold either.
Sending you sunshine wishes.

We've been going to Q off and on for the past 25 years during late January for the Swap Meets & Flea Markets. Friends of my Dad owned the area known as the Main Event.
The weather the majority of the time we have been there was usually perfect. Light jacket during the day, but heavy jacket at night weather. There have been times when the air conditioner was needed.
Once in a while it's cold, windy, rain and even snow. Right now there are a series of storms going through California and on into Arizona. This pattern will keep up through next week. So you can expect cold for at least another week or so.

Snow and windy here in southern middle Tennessee, it's even sticking on the ground. It could be worse though, so I'm not complaining. Just a little concerned for my youngest girl and her BF, they left MN earlier today and are heading back to TN, they figured they would hit the snow/freezing rain around Peoria and have to drive in it the rest of the way here. I'm confindent in her driving abilities, she grew up in SD/MN but the further south they get the less likely other folks will be good on poor roads since they don't have to deal with it very often.

It's 16 degrees and expecting a foot or more of the white-stuff 60 miles south of Montreal. The wind chill here in Lebanon Tn. is suppose to get to 18 by the AM. Had a few flurries here this after-noon. I put the shovel back away. Nightsky; I hope your daughter and BF stay safe and know when to go find a place to spend the night if need be. The further South they come the less DOT equipment available to clear the roads. Encourage them to get off if the roads get to messy.

Sorry, but some of you just aren't impressing me. We had 14 degrees this morning at the Miller residence. When we first got up, I noticed that the water pressure was really low when I flushed the toilet. Same at the bathroom sink. After a bit of running water, we got back to full pressure. Evidently, our external water lines were beginning to freeze, thus restricting the water flow.
I checked this evening and the heat cable along the water line has quit working. So, I know what I will be doing when it warms up. Over all, we are in good shape. Last night, the outdoor temperature was 22 when I went to bed and the underbelly was 42 degrees. The fireplace and one Lasko tower ceramic heater had the living room at about 72 degrees. At 6:30 this morning, the outside temp was 14 and the interior was 69 degrees with us using only one of the furnaces in our Suites. However, the underbelly temp was up to 51 degrees after a night of that furnace running.
Love our Mobile Suite.
