It has become necessary to define a policy regarding embedding video clips within the body of a forum thread or post. If a video is to be embedded, the topic and message of the video must relate directly to RV'ing. If it is not directly related to RV'ing, then one can post a link within the forum post that will direct any interested parties to another internet site.
If inserting a link, be sure that the link will open that other site in a separate window. It would also be beneficial to put a note within the body of the post so that any interested parties will know where the link will take them and what the subject of the video is.
Much of the reason for this policy is to prevent an issue where a video may still have copyright issues related to it, thus exposing the RV Dreams website to litigation. Therefore, any video that does not adhere to this policy will be removed if it is embedded and not linked.
