We had our first snow/slush yesterday here in southern NJ. It was a dreary day for sure. Hopefully we will be pulling out over the weekend to start our travels to AZ by way of AL, TX NM. We barely got above the 40' mark yesterday. I haven't heard anything on the news but I hope that Gene and all the others fared well during this storm.

So far we haven't seen any snow here in Casa Grande, Arizona. It was 90 yesterday and we went with friends to watch the skydivers at Eloy including about 25 from the German military.

Well, no snow here in Oklahoma City. Still sitting and wondering how everyone on the East coast is doing.
Not in the 90's either, and that is good from my standpoint. We are taking an extra day this coming weekend to make a longer weekend and plan on going to see some friends. Will be passing by Hinton, Oklahoma and the Red Rock Canyon State Park. Will likely drop into there to check out the autumn colors and get some photos.
The only "snow" in my life is that Jo has another medical procedure on Monday. She had a heart attack and ensuing angioplasty back about 7 years ago. Their last stress test showed signs of a possible restriction in that same area, so they will do a heart cath test, and if necessary, another angioplasty.
So, I'm asking for everone to pray for the citizens of the East coast and for my Jo.

Teri: Extra prayers being sent for Jo! So far no snow here in the Nashville area, but cooling down and the leaves are almost history. Expecting it to be cooler than the last two seasons. I will take it in stride and maybe a white Christmas will be good, haven't been in one since 1992. I am just fortunate to have added 6 months of living, since my heart attack.

We had snow in the surrounding hills last night. Possible snow down on the valley floor in the next couple days and certainly snow in the pass by Ashland. But it looks like ok weather will be here by next week Wed. or Thursday which is exactly when we will hit the road south.
Don't let that warm weather get away Bill!!!

S##W, come on Mr. Moderator, I thought we were not supposed to use four letter words on here. Do your job and delete these nasty things. Supposed to be in the 80s here until Sunday, then may get down to 60s for a high. I just hope the next couple of weeks are our winter (oops, now we need to ban 6 letter words)

But, Ken......
......Gene is possibly snowed in and without power up there in New York, so I'm trying to do double duty here.
Besides, as much as I'm not really crazy about that "white stuff," it can certainly create some beautiful scenes to photograph. Now, if I could figure out how to take the photos without having to get out into the cold, it would be even better. The photo below may not be appreciated by a lot of folks, but this one was taken up in the Oklahoma Panhandle about 20 miles from where I grew up. Let me tell you folks.....up there one can see for miles because of few trees and only very gently rolling hills.

Hmmm.
Perhaps that was just a "cardinal sin" committed by a moderator. I just went beyond "using" that four-letter word and actually showing a picture of the stuff.
Remind me to scold myself later.
I'd do it now, but we are preparing to take a trip about a hundred miles west of Oklahoma City to see some friends in Elk City and take some Autumn foliage pictures.

Well, since I have "sinned" already, I might as well compound the "sin." Besides, I like sharing nice images with friends.
