HI Rv Dreamers!! Our Time... I guess says it all... I have been reading alot on forms and sites about full time Rving. Have talked with some and a thank you to Lucky Mike for the useful advice. My wife and I are looking forward to getting out there. I do have a question. We are older and will be using medicare and I am (not spouse) qualfied to use the VA Services. So far SD is looking pretty good for most of our needs as a resident state. My question is for those using medicare and are a fulltimer what company are you using for a secondary inurance comany that covers you while out of state and on the road? So far I have read on the SD Medicare site that AARP....Mutual of Omaha and UniCare Helth Ins are the companys in SD. Are the companys who cater to fulltime Rvers?

The problem with secondary insurance is that each state regulates rates and spending......that being said, AARP also caters to fulltimers and as far as I know even has an RV program. I would think that being national they would be a little more lenient or have something set up for the traveller.
Also check good sam and Escapees.......Escapees has a nice program in that area, even has retirement assisted living parks!!
hope this is a start!!!!

I think can help some with the Medicare insurance questions as that is what I do for a living and am licensed in most states...not all. I can offer you some insight in that area and in fact, with today's world soon we may be full-timing while I perform my job in our home on wheels.
Contact me if you would like to discuss further.
