We plugged in the hose for the central vac and when I pulled it out it will not go off. We tried putting the hose back in and out again several times but it still would not turn off. My hubby turned off the breaker labeled central vac but that was not the right one. The one that turned it off was labeled converter. We left it off for 24 hours hoping maybe it would reset but when we turned the breaker back on the vac system turns back on. Any thoughts?

Try tapping the hose outlet a few times without plugging the hose in........there is a micro switch in the outlet and it is either arced in the on position or it got dirt in the switch and is stuck
hope this helps!!!!.....................any other questions you know where to find us.....we all can work together to get you thru it!!

If you have one of those kick dust pans in the step, make sure it is off. You could have moved it to "on" while using the vac.
