Definitely an interesting idea. However, I should caution on the use of photos to make sure that one's photos are not too large for the forum "pages." If you've ever noticed that some forum threads are so wide that one has to scroll back and forth to get all the text, it is usually a result of a photo somewhere on the forum that is forcing the "page" to be very wide. If you note in my thread about our "Hiccup" possibilities, I added a photo of our granddaughter's accident. That photo was just a wee bit wide as one can see by the scroll bar at the bottom.
If you are not sure of your photo size, try to use links to the photos instead. If you use the "Show Preview" feature below the text entry box, that will let you see if your photos are too large.
Now, for my contribution. First a few photos of the Purgatoire River Campground area.

Two years ago, I posted a campground review for Purgatoire River Campground. That can be found here:
As you will find if you read the review for the campground, Jo and I have had preferences for campgrounds, specifically the sound of running water in a stream or river, an abundance of trees, and being well off the main roads. Purgatoire met that criteria for us. In fact, one year we went up in a custom van to check out a whole bunch of campgrounds in northern New Mexico and Colorado and found that NONE of them had all three things we like. So, by sheer chance, we had enjoyed a great place for many years. Our stays for all those years were generally for only one week.
Purgatoire River Campground will be something of a challenge for really large RV's, but it has at least one site capable of a long one and there are also sites in the meadow where those with horses and horse trailers can park. I'm not quite ready to "swear" that ours would fit in there, but I'm certainly game to try with our 38-footer.

I would suggest a link to an outside source...Picasa,Photo Bucket etc.Photo's use a lot of space and I'm not sure if it would start costing Howard and Linda more to host the site.Maybe Howard will chime in. Terry's photo's above are a good example of what happens when they are to big.

That is just as easy, if not actually easier because one doesn't have to resize the photos before posting.
In an earlier e-mail conversation with Howard, I think he told me that bandwidth (that which photos use so much of) is not so much a factor in costs of websites anymore. However, I could be wrong.
EDIT: I've received a private message from Howard. Below is the text of the part of that message that relates to the use of photos within the body of the forum post instead of using a link.
Hey Terry,
I don't have a problem with posts of photos in that thread as long as they are sized down to fit the screen.
The cost of the Forum is based solely on monthly page views. :)
I've removed the links to my Photobucket account and put the photos back into the body of the message so that readers and posters can have an idea of how big their photos can be. As Howard said, keep them sized down to the size of the screen.

I Think it would be great if everyone was to share a pic of there favorite places to see and maybe tell a storie of their best experiance of life on the road. I for one would love to hear it. Even tell a story of a bad experiance that has a good ending would be fantastic.
