I'm working on a TV documentary about Canadian workampers. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to chat with me about their experiences? I could use the help! :)
You can email me at workamperdevelopment@gmail.com, or I'll check back here!
Thanks so much!

I have sent the following message to the poster who started this thread. I caution all to be careful with unknown "entities" requesting information without being willing to divulge their own information.

"Sir or Madam,
Pardon the lack of a more personal greeting, but your profile at RV Dreams' forum site gives no name nor gender for the poster.
First of all, I have moved the post with your request to the category of "Working and Volunteering on the Road." It will likely get more notice there than in the "Introduce Yourself" category.
Secondly, since I know nothing about you and your endeavor, I am writing to request that you provide me with more information with regards to yourself and your "documentary." Otherwise, since your post contributes nothing to those considering this lifestyle, I will likely delete it and ban your IP address.
If you are truly working on a TV documentary, then you might also consider contacting Workkamper News to see if they can be of any assistance to you. Other than that, you can find some stories in the RV Dreams forum category of "Working and Volunteering on the Road."
Just so you will know, I will add a post to your thread posting advising others that since we know little about your or your endeavors, to be extremely cautious if they decide to correspond with you.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. While we wish well of others in their endeavors, our intent is to protect our forum participants.

I just sent this to Terry and Jo, but just so it is public knowledge.
I am indeed not a spammer. Please excuse my lack of information- as the project is under development, we keep these things under wraps until they are picked up by a network, and posting my name and company information can give away propriatary information to other companies/networks.
I am from an established Canadian television company, and we've recieved a pitch from a filmmaker wanting to make a show about Canadian workampers. I am a research assistant for this company, and I'm just looking to make contact with some possible characters.
I did speak with Workamper News, and posting on online forums was a suggestion they gave me. So I thought I'd give it a try.
I have no malicious intent in this--we just really like to tell good stories. :)

Thanks for that response to my private message and posting the same information here as well.
Now that we have a little better understanding of the reason for "non-disclosure," I feel compelled to leave the post in place. However, I have a follow up question for you. Do you wish to hear from people from Canada that are workkamping, or would you want people who have worked in Canada. After all, if you are wanting those that are Canadians, there is no reason for citizens of the U.S. to respond.
As for the forum participants, I simply advise caution as to what information is given to anyone with whom you are unfamiliar. That said, good luck to all.

Well, I haven't seen anything as yet that is like what we want to do! So hopefully I can find some Canadian characters. Either Canadians, or workampers working in Canada!
