My wife and i have been camping part time for over 40 years now. We are puting things togetter now so we can go fulltiming. I HOPE BY MAY 2013 WE CAN HIT THE ROAD. I now have thousand trails elite, coast to coast, rpi, america the beautiful national parks pass. I am thinking of puting Escapees on my list. Are there any other good discount parks out there. I now have a 2011 29 foot caliber made by heartland. with one slideout. The rv is pay off. No loan on it. The house we have is pay off to and everything else we have is pay off. What can you tell me about passport America discount parks. We are thinking about staying 2 or 3 weeks in each park that we go to. Like to here from you.

Joe,
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. While I can't answer your questions as we are not traveling yet, I know that there are a lot of folks here that can help you. Feel free to ask any questions that you have and we'll be glad to try to help you.
Glad to have you in the "family."

We use Passport America when we can find a park that has good reviews and is on our travel route. For the most part parks limit your discount to a couple of days, often Sunday to Thursday or exclude use during peak travel times although we have found some that will let you use it anytime without limits. Each park sets its own restrictions with the only constant being half off their regular price. Just remember that this is a discount plan and that any RV Park can be a member. PA does not police the quality of the park so you can find good ones and ones that are not so good. Do your research ahead of time on rvparkreviews.com or a similar site.
