We are currently experiencing something we haven't in months. As I write this, we hear rain falling on the roof of our RV and little streams of water running down the windows. I had forgotten how soothing the sound of rain on an RV roof could be.
Hopefully, our drought will now be over, and we pray for the same for everyone else.

Be careful, Mike. I know Someone who can send fire and brimstone.....
.....just kidding.
Now, if we were in the situation of being able to travel instead of still having to work, I'd take you up on the directions.
Be well, Mike. That Someone also sends blessings.

Every time we are in a rain in the TT, I mention that "there is nothing like the sound of rain on a hot composite roof".

Having been in SD, WY and now MT for the last several months, I am wondering if we will ever see/hear rain again.

Hey, we had more last night. Based on my birdbath outside, we got about 1 1/2 inches, and the birdbath is under a tree.
Grass is starting to green up again.....
.....just in time to go dormant for the winter.

We had a beautiful rain here in Montana last week at our summer place at Georgetown Lake. With the metal snow roof, come the sounds of peace. Not quite as loud as on the roof of our winter home, the Coachmen Mirada, but well appreciated. The lake has dropped enough to let the shore birds be seen on our walks. It IS all good...
