Does anyone use the K12 program? Our state is really strict on keeping up with grade level and testing. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this and what they think. Thanks.

Great program, we have two children enrolled in the K12 program. Much better than our local public school system and no teenage drama to deal with either. LOL Public school isn't what it used to be!

I don't use a full K-12 curriculum, but I have purchased independent courses from them -- 7th & 8th grade World History and English for one of our sons and 9th & 10th grade English for the other, so far. They are in 9th & 11th grade this year, and we will continue using K-12 for English.
I have been very satisfied with the quality of both the materials and the teachers (high school courses come with teacher support; optional for the middle school courses and I did not purchase it). I had read somewhere that what is offered through the free public school option is not at the same level of quality as what is offered through the independent courses, but I have no way to verify that.

I'm really not sure if we are going to use the K12 program. I've heard its not as self paced as it claims to be. and if your child gets behind in anything they come and take your child to school. That is not what I want. I am looking into a few others. Has anyone here used Calvert?
