We want to go down to Rockport in August to spend time with our daughter and kids. Anyone been there recently? Which RV Park would you recommend? Thanks, Pat & Charlie

we are booked for drifters resort this winter .last spring we visited lots of them and we found and liked this one

Rockport is one of our most favorite places. We stayed at the Last Resort but we have heard that they are now full of oil rig workers or something like that. Drifters looks good but we have never stayed there. The only other park we stayed in was Big D which we liked also.

Thank you all for your comments. We are going to try Drifters because of the recommendation and after looking on line we liked what we saw. We went down once before about 4 months ago and stayed at Big D. Folks said that it has gone down some from what it was before, although there are new owners now. Thanks for your input. Pat K

We had a very pleasant stay at Drifters in 2009. Hope yours is as good. Mostly Minnestoa snowbirds there when we were there and they were good people.
