I have a 1973 Wolverine truck camper that I wanted to put on my 2003 Chevy dually but the truck won't fit between the jack leg stands holding the camper. I've tried calling the local RV dealer but the guy in the parts department doesn't know what I'm talking about. He keeps trying to sell me the brackets for the truck. (Hard to find good help these days.) Is there a bracket or extension for the jacks that I can buy to space it out enough to get the dually under it? My Dad is a welder and can fabricate something for me if need be but he said he needs a design to work off of. It needs to be strong enough to hold 2500 lbs of camper. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer.

Ok, found the swing away brackets...but $300 a pair!!!! Wow, the camper only cost me $500 and I guess I will just continue to haul it on my 3/4 ton truck. I was hoping to make it more versatile. It's a great camper for boondocking in the mountains when hauling a trailer is near impossible up some of our mountain roads. So if anyone has any ideas of something I could have my Dad make, that would be extremely appreciated!
Try this forum it is dedicated to truck camper owners
