Greetings. Just a quick note from sunny SW Florida to say hi and say how much I enjoy this awesome site! My wife and I are avid part-timers in our 1996 Class C Dutchmen/Thor(30'). We're working toward moving up to a Class A and becoming full-timers...but not for a while yet. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the open road through your blogs. Safe journeys! We'll be 'out there' one day, too! Jim Mac

Jim,
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums as an active member. As you start your researching and planning, feel free to ask the questions you need answered, regardless of whether you might think it is a dumb one or not. As I've said several times, the only dumb questions are the ones that don't get asked.
We all learn from each other, so with your prior experience as a part-time RV'er, I'm sure you probably have something to add in the way of comments as well. So, feel free to be active.

Welcome aboard. We went from a 26ft lite weight to a 35ft 26,000 pound puppy. Keep in touch..

Thanks. Nice to get replies to my first post so quickly. Despite my years of PT-ing, I've already learned a ton from all the posts I've been reading here. I'm on info overload! The frankness is refreshing. I hope to be able to contribute something one day. I'm a fairly good cook. I once did a live cooking show at the tv station where I work. Maybe I can contribute a recipe or two. Happy rv-ing! Jim Mac

Well, you just wait until you ask what do I need to ???. Then it is time to protect the wallet, mister. We can spend other people's money like nobody else in the world. You have been warned!

Oh, yeah! I already have plenty of experience with that aspect of rv-ing! Thanks for the warning!

Glad to have you as part of the family here. Many of the people on the forum have blogs that they write about their travels. You might want to read some of them

Jim,
Welcome to the forum! We started out 35+ years ago with a cab over camper and have worked our way to the class A we currently have. I actually stared driving my parents Ideal travel when I was 16 and we have had RV's ever since.. Anyone remember Ideal trailers?
