I am having a hard time deciding between the 380x Explorer and the 385 FastTrack kayaks. Does anyone have experience with either or both? We hope to spend most of our time in the western states. We won't do any extreme white water, but I like the capacity of the Explorer. Howard and Linda talked about a 4 day trip on the Green river. That got our interest. Linda said it was one of her top adventures since full timing.
Thanks,
James

We own a sea eagle 380 kayak. It's okay but does take some time to get used to how it tracks. (wanders) Perhaps the fast track does this better?

We bought the fast track 385. I talked to Tim at Inflatableboats4less. He was really helpfull. We have been out twice and think we are going to really enjoy exploring new places. One more item off of our fulltiming list of things to buy.

I'm starting to lean towards the Paddle Ski due to the flexibility. It's a boat, kayak, sail and motor boat all wrapped up in one package.
We tend to camp at or near the ocean and large lakes so the sail and motor would save me from having to paddle to do some sight seeing.
Nick Russell has two ... you may want to check his blog to see what he says.
