Unless you have an antenna or amplifier this won't really affect you, but if they change bands it could further complicate amplifiers. Right now Verizon is using the 'C' block on the 700Mhz band, which is what the 4G LTE amplifiers are designed for. They're now looking to pickup some of the AWS band (Typically 1700/2100Mhz) that T-Mobile primarily uses for 4G HSPA+
Looks like things might get even more confusing with all these different bands!

I have tried to explain for months how complicated it is going to get . On top of that the roadmap for LTE is to have it on all each carriers specific frequencies . Initial rollout was on the 700 bands but Verizon will be deploying on 800 and 1900 as well in areas that they own those licences . Now they are trying to buy those AWS frequencies as well . It will be interesting if this goes through with the FCC. The ultimate end solution is to have one amplifier cover all frequencies but the FCC turned that down so far .

I saw a movie like this once. Dead people started attacking the living through radio capable devices.

The cellphonemate 5 will be out of most RVer's price range at $3000 just for the amplifier . Plus it requires 180 feet of antenna separtion . That would have to be some RV . We hope to launch our new triband amplifiers very soon. with several different RV configurations. Howard from these very forums is testing one of our dual band packages which has also been tested and is being used by Jack Mayer. Hope to get results back from Howard soon as he is testing in several signal challenged areas.

We actually carry the Cellphone-Mate FORCE-5 amplifier that covers 700/800/1900/2100Mhz and Wilson will be debuting one in the third quarter of 2012. However, both of these solutions are designed for buildings and there's nothing in the pipeline yet for more portable use.
