After moving back into a house a few years back we stored our Monty using it only a few weeks each year. Now that we have grand kids up North and only get to see them a few weeks each year. Well that was until now, the Monty has come to the rescue! We have decide to try our idea of reverse snow birding and are going to be heading to WI for the Summers maybe permanent until I retire because of some extra pay I get for being a 33 yr veteran of the job. I can honestly say I am so looking forward to doing this and with our rig set up already it is going to be such a nice transition. Howard I haven't been on the sight much but always seem to return to see what you have been up too. It is truly amazing how far you have come over the years and the amount of detail you have continued to provide all the people that are considering this life style. Gina and I have come to realise that we really do miss the simple things in life and that full-timing in our rig is really one of them. But we also need to look at getting through the next 7 years before we pull the pin on my career account keeping my retirement intact. One of the things that has really come along are the toy-haulers with full-time amenities and we are looking forward to seeing where they lead us over the next 5-10 years when we will upgrade for retirement. Thanks again for following your bliss and taking us all for the ride of your lifetime!

That's too funny... I have a friend in Austin with a Great Dane named Bailey... LOL I grew up with a Great Dane -- Daisy. She was a great dog, but I can't imagine her in a rv. She was a very clumsy dog.
Glad you are able to travel more. We're just hitting the road full time. Neither of us is at a retirement age but we decided to go for it and make it work. For us it seems the best way to get to a place where we can actually retire.

I tried to change our profile to update it but I guess it didn't take. Bailey was our male dane of 11 years when we had to help him over the bridge a few summers ago. We now have a big guy named Major that will be taking his place for long while we hope. We rescued him a few years ago from a bad situation. As far as the large breed dogs in the RV once they hit around 4 years old they are pretty much happy laying around with their owners. Real easy to take along and live with in such small quarters.
