When I slide my kitchen out, the top doesn't tilt back into place. I have to climb onto the counter and push the top back while somebody else runs the slide.
Any ideas how to fix or adjust this?

Thank you. I'll take a look at the seals and clean and lubricate them. As for the mechanisms, I believe they are motor driven, not hydraulic. I can see teeth all along the track of the slide out. I don't have to put much pressure on the slide, just a little bit on the top to finish it off.
I should also add that the slide makes the distinctive "clicking" indicating that it is all the way out and the bottom is firmly seated against the seal. it's just the top that doesn't get all the way out.

There are a few different types of slide mechanisms. Most have adjustments underneath. Without further info it will be hard to troubleshoot. How much pressure do you have to put on it? One quick thought, the exterior walls of the slide out has rubber seals....treat the seals and the sides with a wax and lubricant, the friction could be keeping the slide from dropping into place.....

If there are awnings over your slide toppers, the little pull tags may have caught underneath?

No awnings.
