Found this link in another forum, (hope it's ok to post here?) I thought it might be worthwhile for anyone new or not to driving bigger vehicles.
Have to admit I wouldn't have known what to do, definitely surprised by the video and the right way to react to a blowout!

WOW!!!!! What an eye-opener!!!! Stepping on the gas would be the furthest thought from my mind!! Good info - I think I'll put a reminder sign on my dash!!! I'll have a list of things;
Height of RV Bring in slide & bring up levelers Detach all connections Tire air loss - STEP ON THE GAS - PRAY
So much to think of!!!

It is interesting to note a big difference between RV tires and automobile tires when a blow out occurs. If you watch the video closely you will see that the tire comes right off of the bead on the rim quite quickly. That tends to contribute to the loss of steering control because it drops the rim right onto the pavement. A car tire will stay on the bead through most flats and blow outs but not an RV tire. It has to do with the .5 designation after the rim size, like 22.5 or 19.5. That designates that the bead edge is set at about 60 degrees or there about rather than the almost 90 degrees of the typical automobile rim. I just thought that was interesting.

I too have viewed this video and found it interesting that you step on the gas! Now the key is to remember to do in the split second you have to make a decision.
