I am in the market for a used DP for all-weather full-timing (I may have to spend time in WI and MN during the colder months). According to RV Consumer Group, only the Safari Panther is rated for full-timing. I see that the Panther has All Season Foam Insulated Roof, Insulated Aluminum Baggage Doors with Power Locks, and Two-Layer Flooring. The Zanzibar is rated for snowbirding.
Does anyone know whether a Zanzibar can be comfortably used in the winter?
Thank you!

When talking DP's for winter usage the happiest people have diesel furnace/hot water systems like Aqua-hots and Oasis systems, which the Panther has and most or all Zanzibars do not. My memories of the Zanzibar is it was two levels below the Panther, with the Serengeti model between. There are a lot of differences.
