Sherry and I are spending our first Christmas as full timers in Texas. We are parked in Guadalupe River Rv Resort in Kerrville till January 4th. Then we will move down to Mission. This sure beats the Indiana winters.
Merry Christmas and Safe travels where ever you may be.

It is a good thing you guys are moving further south. Winters in Kerrville can get pretty nasty especially with ice. The good part of winter in Texas is it does not last as long as winter up in Indiana. Travel safe - Merry Christmas.

While we really aren't in a state with extremely cold weather, when it gets cold here in Oklahoma City, I'm gonna start taking names of all those in warmer climates.
Seriously, though, Jo and I would also like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Here in Denver, tomorrow the high temp will be in the teens with up to 10" of snow. I think the fireplace in the 5er will get a workout tomorrow!
I hope to be in the South next winter!

Welcome to the Lone Star State. A Whole 'nother Country.
While you're there I'd recommend a tour of the Mooney aircraft factory.
If you haven't done so already take a ride over to Fredericksburg. Check out the Chamber of Commerce website to see if they have anything special going on during the holiday. I'd recommend that you visit Rustlin' Bobs while you're there.
LBJ Ranch is in Johnson City. It's a nice tour, but do so when the weather is warm because it's a tram/walk tour.
Then there is always... BEEF BBQ.

Merry Christmas to all. Wayne & Sherry not to bad back here in Hoosier State right now, (I'm in the south end), mid 40's to lower 50's during the day and mid 30's at night, no snow. Hope it stays like this, very doubtful that it will.

Guadalupe River State Park is near Bulverde, about 12 miles from Boerne on Hwy 46. Kerrville is about 50 miles kinda north of Boerne. just sayin
