I'm new...not ashamed to admit it. I retire next September with 25 years of service in Law Enforcement. My wife, who is a tad younger than I, is a nurse. She's decided to do some travel nursing, and instead of living out of suitcases for 3 - 6 months at a time, we plan to pull our house with us. We have a Dodge 3500, and we have picked out a 35 foot Pinnacle by JayCo. We would love to hear some tips, and maybe hook up with some other travelers. Be safe!

Welcome... and to the adventures you have ahead of you! We have some friends who follow her work as a travel contract PA in their RV.. they're having a blast. Great way to immerse yourself in a local community for a while, and then move on.

Keith,
First of all, thanks for your service to your community by being in law enforcement. While Jo and I both work for a state law enforcement agency, neither of us are commissioned. Knowing what you have had to deal with for years, I'd say you've earned what could be a great future.
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. You will find a lot of folks here with a vast amount of knowledge, a lot of folks who are friendly and helpful, and a few of us who are just a wee bit sarcastic and smart-alecky as well.
Pull up a chair and ask away with questions and comments and become a part of the family.

Welcome to the forum. I spent about 3 years doing a lot of blog reading. Then I found this forum in 2010. I've gotten more useful info here than any other place. Read a lot and ask questions. Terry said it best - become a part of the family.
