Love it Jerry ... will wait to show my wife since we're not quite ready for this yet, but I know she'll want her sewing/quilting "room" somewhere. Congrats!

This looks GREAT! As we approach our first year fulltime I cannot tell you how important hobbies and our own little space can be! Nice work!

Nice job, Jerry. I have a custom leathercraft business and I did something similar in our 5th. We have a bunk room model. I took out the hide-a-bed couch and the top bench/bed that were in the slide-out area. The supports for the top bed now support a standard kitchen counter top approx 6' in length. I originally put wood kitchen cabinets underneath. Quickly found out that was the wrong thing to do - for two reasons. Too much weight and nothing to keep the drawers and doors shut. Ended up with contents all over the floor and some drawers busted. Removed those and put in the plastic drawers similar to what you show. I also did some basic frame work with 2x4's. I spaced screws on the front of the 2x4 and then tie paracord across the front of the drawers when we're moving. No more spills. When we park, I untie the paracord and push the screws in flush with the wood to prevent anything snagging on them.

With Jerry's post of their workcenter, we have done similarly. Only ours is only 4 feet wide to allow it to fit in the rear of the coach. The story of what I gave up for her benefit and pictures of our (yet unfinished) workcenter is at this blog site:
(No, it isn't as bad as it sounds....unless you are me.)
We put our unit together using some kind of "right-angle" brackets that I've never used before. They are much strurdier than the normal right-angle strips with holes drilled in them.

I love this! It turned out super fab, looks just like it was built in that way!
This is a great idea, when we go on the road I will need something in either a bunk area or if we buy a toy hauler turn that room into a craft area. Don't know what we will do yet, depends upon the rig we buy.
Unfortunatly, I have a HUGE massive inventory of ribbon that I use for my business that I will need to find room for somehow, I know I will have to scale down as much as possible.
This RV mod was done so my wife can enjoy her hobby while we are on the road.

We hit the road Jan 9.
