We finally have a contract on the house after waaaay to long.
Closing date is set for Oct 28th so we have a lot of work to do in a very short time.
All inspections and checks are being done by the buyer this week, wish us luck and no problems with the final steps and a smooth closing.
We put a deposit on a Jayco Pinnacle 5th Wheel, so lets hope the next two weeks go smooth.

Congradulations on the house sale! We're in the Jacksonville area of Florida and the housing sale market is really tough here. What part of Florida are you guys in? How long did it take to sell?

We have hit a few bumps with the House Sale but still looks like everything is moving forward for a Oct 28th Closing.
We continue to say our prayers everynight till we get the money in hand.

So how's it going. Did the house close?
We certainly know about the whirlwind of moving. Our home closed Oct. 21. We had to be out of our house by nightfall Oct. Meant staying at an airport hotel until we flew out the next day.
We left for our full-time RV adventure Oct. 22, but luckily our first five nights were in the Portland, OR area sp we could receive our container at our storage unit, go to Seattle to pick up my car from the dock, load up our 5er, take care of new driver's licenses, car registration, mail forwarding service through UPS Store, insurance, etc., etc, etc.
On Oct. 28 we were in Fallon, NV camping, getting ready to start our two-month stint at amazon.com in Fernly, NV. Talk about being fast out of the gate.
We think you are making a great decision, even though you probably are tearing your hair out now. Somehow it all falls into place.
Good luck. Let us know how it's going.

Hope your Luck was good and your onto your next adventure. We are looking at going back to full timing again. Put the house on the market last week. But we do know things in the housing market are in the tank.. We are in Florida for the winter and have looked into some properties, houses etc. There are literally thousands of houses that aren't selling? Building lots were selling at $40,000 and up now aren't selling at $8,000??? However if we sell fine if we don't sell thats fine also, we still will be on the road about 8 months a year. We are really tired of paying so much tax, electric, water etc, and then there is always the problem with up keep, very hard to get anyone to work in our home county. Good Luck.. Happy Trails....

House sale did go through and we closed on October 28th with no problems.
We are scheduled to pickup our new Jayco Pinnacle this Tuesday morning November 8th at RV Direct in Orlando Fla.
Lets hope the delivery of our new 5th Wheel goes smooth, we will be spending our first week at Disney's Fort Wilderness to run all systems and test everything to make sure we do not have anything the dealer needs to take care of before we leave the area.
