Today I'm filled with many questions so here's one more. Dirt. Ok, I love the outdoors, I garden, I love nature, I'm a potter for goodness sake, so I'm used to getting dirtly. What I wonder about is a dirt yard all the time. We have 2 big Patio Mats and I keep them swept, but when we camp the outdoors are as much a part of our home as indoors. Most campsites we've been to are dirt, sand or gravel and not necessarily level. I guess we could periodically choose a campsite with a patio, though they tend to be more expensive...........

I have found many different surfaces, dirt, concrete, gravel, asphalt, grass, and just about everything else you can think of. We usually use the fake carpet mat, about 16ft long, we always remove shoes before entering the Rig, and vaccuum just about every day.....G

Campsites with patios are, in my opinion, over rated. Buy a very good outdoor carpet (the kind that does not kill the grass) and use it at your entrance. Now you can park where ever your heart desires which is way more important than whether you get some dirt inside your RV. Vacuums are great, they pick up dirt!
