We drove the entire length of the “Trace” back in 2009 when we returned home from the RV-Dreams Kerrville Rally.Great drive you should enjoy.
Best campground was Trace State Park – just west of Tupelo, MS.Just wonderful.

On a big lake, back-in site under trees, 50 amps, full hook-up, with satellite reception and the lake out the back window of the 5’er.Like ~$22 back then as I recall.Recommend site #40.These are reservable for those who like to make sure via Reserve America.
Hope you enjoy it if you end up this far up the Trace.

Here's a couple web sites you may find interesting.
We followed most of the trace a few years ago and had a great time. The speed limit is 45 mph on most of the trace and when we were there they were enforcing it.
Take your time and make lots of stops along the way to see the attractions.
Anyone travelrd the Natchez Trace from Jackson to Florence Al ?
Know of any good places to spend the night
Howard reviewed several campgrounds in that area when he and Linda were there in 2007.
