Just wanted to write a short note to introduce ourselves.
Jim & Brenda Langley, (Brenda is John Robbins's sister, so yes, John is my brother in law). We are from New Holland, PA.
I am an electrical engineer, musician, pilot, woodworker and astronomer. I work for Johnson & Johnson, (McNeil) in Fort Washington, PA, and Brenda is a Certified Medical Transcriber who works for Lancaster General Hospital.
We have owned a Georgie Boy 2450 class A MH for the past 7 years, and just last week, traded it in at the Hershey show for a Infinity 3750FL fiver, which I will be taking delivery of on my birthday, October 1st!
We do not have an adequate truck as of today, but will be writing the check for one some time in 2012.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.
Jim & Brenda

Welcome Jim & Brenda! We are looking to fulltime 2013 - 2015 depending on how things go financially (always about that!). When are you aiming to fulltime? We are researching the 5th wheel that we want to get, what did you like about the Infinity? We probably walked by you at the RV show LOL.
We have learned a great deal from RV Dreams, everyone here has been wonderful so far in helping out - no question is "stupid"! Enjoy the adventure.

Hello to yourself:
If you walked in the Infinity in the front row, you were in our fifth wheel!
We have been talking about going part time/full time for the past seven years, but do not have a specific plan for it yet. My job situation will not allow it right now, and short of early retirement, I'm not sure how we would get there any sooner, we'll see.
I thing we liked about the Infinity the most were the nice creature comforts that come with it, plus, they had the front living space layout that we were looking for. Also, I found out that the frame is manufactured by the same company that make the frame for the DRVs, which is a plus.
Now if I could just figure out which truck to buy?

Jim and Brenda,
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. If you've done any reading to begin with, you probably know you have found a source of very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful folks. Feel free to ask any question you have about RV's and RV'ing. We welcome all questions and comments.
As for a truck, I don't know how heavy the Infinity is, but look for a truck while armed with the knowledge of how heavy a coach you will have. In other words, be cautious of buying a truck that is inferior to the needs to safely handle your coach.
Good luck with the research and planning.
Terry

Hi Jim and Brenda!
Welcome to the RV Dreams forum, and congratulations on your new Infinity. We walked through that very coach and thought that front living area was really cozy. You should have many relaxing hours in that rig!
Bob and I are just down the road from you in Pennsylvania! We live about 5 minutes from where the RV Show was last week. I used to be a certified medical transcriptionist and worked at a couple of local hospitals as well as being an independent contractor. Talk about a portable profession!
We are looking to full time either in 2013 or 2014. Bob will be retiring from DoD in December (my nails are a LOT shorter these days), and our daughter will graduate from high school in 2013. The "bug" bit us last year when we attended the Hershey RV Show. We have decided on a fifth wheel, but not sure which one yet. We want to tour the factories of a few first.
Glad you've decided to join us here....lots of very knowledgeable people, and the friendliest group around!

Boy Jerry, I would guess the "getting rid of" part takes some time. What to sell, throw away put in storage, or take with you. It sounds exciting, and you guys are very close! We really do not have a plan just yet, as we are doing the research before deciding if we want to go full time, part time, or something else?
We also have to consider our family, (we currently have two grandchildren). It might be better for us to just camp and take them with us...
Either way, a lot to talk about, but that's the fun of it!
@Ken & Marianne, yes, the folks on RV-Dreams are quite nice and very knowledgable. Good luck with your plan.

Hi Jim and Brenda. We're new here as well and finding the site cool and the people cooler. Mary Kay and I are living 5 days a week in a 27 foot TT but are waiting for bank approval on a 2009 Select Suites 36RS3.
See you on the road.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm still a newbie here, but learning a lot by reading through the journal and these forums. I looked up your model RV and think it is awesome. That front living room setup seems pretty unique.
I've got a few years before I'll be able to spend much time on the road, so I've got plenty of time to look around.
Good luck,
Frank
