Once I have decided which STATE to domicile in, how do I go about figuring out where my street address will be? Is that what the mail forwarding services do?

Hi, As with most topics, there are different ways to go about the address issue. We choose to domicile in Nevada. We use a UPS store we have had for years. That is our address.Works here for everything from drivers license,to voting. They fwd mail for us,to another UPS store near where we are,or to a campground,if we are going to stay a bit. Some states have different residency requirements. Some people use Escapees mail services, some use forwarding services in other states. You should be able to find lots of archived info on this site. You will find the right fit for you.

We work in TN. We live in GA. We pay HUNDREDS of dollars a month to the state of Georgia.
When we full time here shortly, we will be living in TN and want our payroll to reflect that we now live in the same state that we work in.
Will the UPS Store address work for that??? If so, thats the coolest thing since sliced bread.

We have a pretty detailed article about this topic, including the considerations for choosing your state and options for setting up a specific address once you do:
