Hi, I am trying to decide what kind of rv to get looking to live in full time. Would be me and my critters. Have pretty much decided on a 5th wheel. When I went to the local RV show, I was looking at the Toy Haulers, thinking that it would be nice to have the washer and dryer out there, along with maybe a small freezer, and some extra storage.. I would like to have some feed back from those of you who have some experience in life in a 5th wheel and if any one has a Toy Hauler, what would be the pros and cons of that set up.. oh and I don't have any "toys" to acutally haul.
I would appreciate any information you all can give me..
Thanks in advance.

The toy hauler thing works great for pets, after we pull our car out the garage converts to a cat room, litter boxes, cat food storage etc....

Are you also bringing "toys" or a second vehicle? Not sure why to go with the toy hauler when you can have the W/D most any reasonable sized 5th wheel. Just seems like a lot of wasted space for storage and a small freezer.

I agree with Bill. We have many friends that have both a separate washer/dryer and a small freezer in a normal fiver. Especially if it's just one person and some animals. Good luck,

Although we have a regular 5th Wheel, I would consider a Toyhauler as a replacement depending upon the layout of the built in living & kitchen space. The garage area to me offers some flexibilty that we sometimes need.
I can see us using the garage area as an entertainment area... big screen TV and all the video audio toys plus comfortable seating. A place to carry a couple of mobility scooters, golf cart or other means of personal transport.
As a guest room.
Or we could use it for hauling the stuff we sometimes sell at Flea Markets.
Flexibility is the selling point I would buy a toyhauler vs a regular 5th wheel.
By the way Fred, I like your new photo.....

It's a nice photo but I prefer the one from Laurie's blog better. (Fred will know which one I mean)
