I'm thinking of storage in Florida for Nov- until March. I'll drive or fly down from the NE once a month and use it. I'll tow it to a camp use it then place it back in an outside storage lot unplugged.
What should I expect? Should I crack windows and roof vents to prevent mold? I store in CT here in winter and summer without issues.

It depends on what part of Florida in which you plan to store the RV. If you're in the southern part of the state during that period you'll have moderate humidity but if in the north the humidity is significantly lower. We're in the Jacksonville area and if we don't use our RV for any length of time we hang at least one Damp Rid inside to control the humidity. They're fairly cheap and do a great job of pulling the moisture out of the air. You'll probably get varying opinions on leaving the RV open or shut but we close ours up to control the air that gets inside.

What he said. We store ours outside in the Midwest when not in use, and I always close it up. The Damp Rid does wonders, I've never opened it up and felt any humidity or seen any signs of it.

We leave our 5th wheel on-site year-round in the Keys, staying there from Nov-April and leaving it vacant during the summer. When we pack up to leave in April, we use Damp-Rid, several aluminum cake pans filled with charcoal, and spread sheets of Bounce around everywhere. We also have a couple of those covers over our vents that allow us to leave them open to let air circulate but it keeps out the rain. We also leave a couple of windows barely open. We've been doing this for 10 years and, thankfully, have never had a problem with mold or mildew.
