So I've got this 1984 Pace Arrow. I bought it used, and in general it seems to be pretty shipshape ... but the gas cap doesn't fit. Clearly the last person had the same amount of difficulty I'm having now, because I can't for the life of me seem to find one--not just for this RV, but in general it seems oddly hard to find gas caps for RVs. For this one specifically? Impossible.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can find a gas cap to fit my RV? I'm going to try calling salvage yards, but I'm not sure what else to do. Are gas caps fairly interchangeable? Would I likely find what I need just by going to an RV parts store and trying on various gas caps?
Thanks in advance for any tips;
Kyla

I would imagine you would have better luck at a NAPA or Pep Boys automotive parts house. RV supply stores are hard pressed to keep sewer hoses and chemicals on hand.

I went to Auto Zone just yesterday and they had absolutely nothing in stock that would fit.

From what I can find it appears your coach is on a GM chassis, maybe that will help...
