For those that are interested, here are the details for creating a link in your posts.
Simply type the words that you want the link to say. For example, type: Link To My Blog
Then highlight those words and click on the "chain link" on the editing menu above. Note the chain link might be "grayed" out and you may not be able to click on it until you have highlighted the words.
When you click on the "chain link", you should get a pop-up box. In the box, there will be three fields as follows:
Url Link
Target
Title
Copy and paste the URL of the page where you want the link to go in the "URL Link" box. Then you use the drop-down on the "Target" field and click on "Open link in a new window" (that leaves the Forum open and creates a new window for the link). As for the "Title" link, you can leave that blank OR you can insert a title which shows up when someone puts their cursor on the link.
The "insert hyperlink" icons are not highlighted/functional so I cannot gracefully include links in my posts. Am I doing something wrong?
Testing Hyperlink.
Works for me. While typing your post, highlight the word(s) you want to make hyperlinked and then click on the chainlink.
