It seems like the most common location for brake control units is to the right of the steering wheel and low. While I can still reach my brake control unit, it is difficult to see. Other than testing the emergency control lever, I not had to reach for it while towing.  However, due to currrent location, it may be a challenge.

Crazy me would like to install the control unit up higher such that I can easily see it while keeping one eye on the road and having access to emergency control lever without needing to bend over to reach for the bottom of the dash.

Is there anyh logical reason why I should not move the control unitl up higher on the dash? I have a Prodigy P3.

By the way, it operated flawlessly on the trip from OK to Corpus Christi. Even warned me when the 5th wheel cable came loose in the connector due to my error in not locking it down.
