Want to find a nice (not too expensive) rv park or campground. We have a 38 ft 5er.
In Flagstaff preferably, but Sedona would be ok too. At least elec and water.
I've been on RV park reviews and not really finding anything......
Any recommendations?

Hi, We stayed at Camp Verde. Distant Drums RV park. Park was really nice and we also took in the Montezuma Castle. Great time!

If military you might consider Camp Navajo located near Williams AZ. Close to both Flagstaff and Sedona.

RV Park Reviews lists 9 campgrounds in Flagstaff, some with rather nice reviews. It sounds like you might have some specific needs?
About 20 miles south of Sedona is Cottonwood and we've stayed and worked at Dead Horse Ranch state park and we highly recommend it.

We are presently in Florence AZ south of Phoenix. Janni, we stayed in Camp Verde on our way down here, so don't want to repeat. And we did see montezuma's castle as well as Toozigut monument and historic downtown Cottonwood...a VERY nice area!
Hi Fred. Yes, we saw all the ones listed and some are not big rig friendly..we are 28 ft 5er, some are primitive which we didn't want to do this quick into our fulltime (we are only in our 4th week). And there was one with a bad review and the best one is more than we wanted to pay. I was looking at the Lo Lo Mai campground, but we really wanted to stay closer to flagstaff, so we could venture more north.
Also, we did drive through Dead Horse Ranch State Park and really liked it...we are saving it for next year when we are back this way.
Mailman, thanks hadn't seen that one. We DID look in military campgrounds, but didn't see that one....looks like a very good possibility!
Thanks! you guys! Very helpful as always!!

We stayed at Black Bart's RV park in Flagstaff in March of this year for a couple of days. Basic park with full hookups, resturant on site, but we didn't try it. We used it as a basecamp so we could run down the mountain to Sedona in the car.
