I was looking for a special color of corian countertop for DH to make a countertop ext. for the 5er we found (haven't traded yet). Found the exact one we needed at Lowe's, but the problem is that the min. length they will sell is 25 sq. ft. That's too long & pricey. Called the factory & they said that color is discontinued. Does any one know how we can buy that color we need? We don't know where else to look.

It may take some time but contact as many cabinet makers as you can, often they save cut off's from jobs complete, maybe you will get lucky, G

I'd agree with GENECOP. I used to own a kitchen remodeling business and frequently had leftover pieces of Corian from sink cutouts, etc. If you can find a solid surface countertop installer you might be able to get a scrap piece. If it's from a discontinued color maybe they would have something they removed from an older kitchen being remodeled.

Do you ever travel out West? There used to be a vendor (if you can call them that) there with dozens and dozens of table tops, left-overs, scraps and other hunks of Corian. Maybe a Google search?
