Roll-up cabinet doors

We have two roll-up wood cabinet doors in the wardrobe area of our class A. One covers the TV and the other is just a storage space. Our problem is that one of the plastic tracks has broken and in doing so has broken a couple of the wood slats in the door. They're also very hard to move up and down.
My DH is wanting to combine the two into one working door (the TV doesn't really need to be hidden), and we're wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with removing and reinstalling these doors. Also, do you know of some kind of lubricant we can put on the track to help them move more easily? I've tried searching on-line and all I'm finding is garage door information. Can you help?

Having once been in the kitchen remodeling business it sounds like the same kind of parts cabinet manufacturers use for appliance garages. Appliance garages sit on the counter, usually in a corner, and have a rollup door similar to what you have. I know you can buy the slatted material for the doors by the roll and probably the tracks as well from a kitchen cabinet supply house. As for a lubricant I always used silicone spray in the tracks and it made them glide easily. Good luck!
I remembered after I posted that my daughter has this type of door in her kitchen to store her bread items. I will check with her to see where she ordered her cabinets. I'll also check Home Depot, etc. It would probably be cheaper there than where she got hers.

Cabinet shop in past life. Seems like Van Dyke Restorers and Rockler had some of the tambour and hardware. Think if you google you will find it. Hope this helps.
