We are up in southern Oregon, and with the frequent rain I've noticed condensation around the windows. This morning I found spots of mold. I cleaned with 409, dried, and since it is sunny and dryish today I've got all the windows open in a hopefully not vain attempt to dry things out a bit.
Any advice?

Keep a window slightly open at all times and a roof vent. The key is air circulation. We also plan to buy a dehumidifier to help. When cooking turn on your stove vent if it is vented outside otherwise run your roof top fan.Keep furniture from touching outside walls and check frequently for moisture.

We have a MH and if we're in very humid weather, (especially if it gets cold outside), we'll open a window in the bedroom slightly, open a window in the front of the MH slightly and then open the kitchen vent, manually, just enough to lift the cover off of the seal but not enough to start the fan.
Also if taking showers or cooking, use those vent fans to pull the excess moisture out of the RV. You'll lose some heat, but to us, it worth not having to deal with the mold.

Hey Racerguy... Have you figured out which dehumidifier to get? Do you have figure out the cubic feet of your RV and try to figure the amount of moisture in the air?.. just wondering.. Is it a stand alone or is it added to the furnace somehow?

Bill, I just started looking into it and don't have much to report. It will be a stand alone model though.I'll post when I find something.
