I have found a 1999 Hurricane. It seems to be priced reasonibly and I think it might work for the 3 of us.
The problem is that I we have never heard about this model and know nothing of Four Winds ( I think that is the Maker). Does anyone know anything about these motor homes?
Thanks for the help! Judy

I know nothing about them, but have seen quite a few of them in several rv parks as we've been traveling.
I think Four Winds may be a middle of the road brand (I know of them, but not much).
Anyway, Hurricanes seem popular enough. Do a bit more research and these guys and gals will surely fill you in with their expertise.

A friend has a Hurricane and they have had good luck with. Four Winds has been around for a long time. They originally entered the market building pickup truck campers.
I liked the layout of it.

Four Winds Hurricanes have been around for a long time and are a popular entry level Class A motorhome. A good value for the price. Most buyers enjoy them and then trade up fairly quickly to something a little more up scale.
Good Luck!
Best Regards!

For part-time camping, it should be fine (if it was taken care of). For full-time camping, I would avoid it. Entry level campers aren't made to stand up to the rigors of being on the road full-time.
Good luck in your final decision, no matter the rig!
