Just saw a few older posts regarding rv'ing and travel nursing. This is what I want to do. I'm an OR nurse and hear jobs are very available. Looking into the workamper thing for my husband. He's a drywaller by trade but can do lots of things mechanical, and loves to cut grass and work outside.
Would love to hear suggestions from other nurses that travel, for rv'ing and travelling. I want to get in with a good agency.

My daughter and her husband are both travel nurses. They are presently in Bakersfield, CA. Starting a little over a year ago, they were first in San Diego. They travel in a 40' Fleetwood Discovery DP motorhome, have 2 young children whom they homeschool....and they work opposite shifts to have the children with them. They do have agencies that get them work and the last agency my son-in-law got was able to acquire for him thousands more each month....salary, living expenses, per diems, travel expenses.....it's a wonderful compensation.
They park in nice RV resort/campgrounds where the kids have a pool, bike paths, etc.
I can get you more info if you'd like...just message me privately.
Melanie
Son-in-law is an OR nurse....his jobs are easier to attain...very plentifull....daughter is an NICU nurse.
