We wondered how many have taken the carpeting out of their rig and replaced it with either tile or wood/Pergo flooring (especially in the living/dining area)?? It seems to me that it would be much easier to keep clean.
If you have done this - who did it for you? Are you happy with the result? And also please give us as many tips and feedback as possible - we are thinking about doing this maybe when we get back to Tampa.

I've seen a lot of posts where the RV'ers have replaced the carpet with Pergo type, tile or linoleum. They've done the work themselves.
In my in-laws motorhome, I removed the carpet and put in heavy duty stick down tiles. It was a weekend project and held up well for many years, even through several years of off road racing support (lots of sand and gravel).
A friend in the RV resort we are at currently is in the process of replacing his flooring this week.
I've read where a couple of RV'ers have hired regular flooring people to do the work. There are RV Interior remodel companies listed on the internet.
