The only way my house batteries are getting charged is by running the engine, and I lack the knowledge and energy so far to identify and resolve the problem.
Have a Freedom 20 Combi Inverter/Charger, and a Freedom/Heart Interface Remote Control Panel. The panel is not recognizing that shore power is connected, but the shore power runs everything but doesn't charge the house batteries.
The generator puts out plenty of power (e.g. will run both air conditioners), but doesn't charge the house batteries.
Everything seems to be hard wired and I can't find any "cutoff" switches between AC input, the generator, etc.; and I can't find any obviously blown fuses.
Do I simply have a damaged or bad inverter/charger???
ANY guidance will be greatlly appreciated.
Thanks! Bob

Bet there is a little black button on one of the battery leads. It will be on a small grey box (1.5 X 1.5). The small black button is very hard to see. I would go to the battery box, trace out the red wire and see if the reset I am talking about is found. It is on my 5th wheel, but it is an 06 model.
